Expensive pet fee!

I’ve stayed at many hotels with my dog and pet fees were always around $20. This one was $50/night! Prior to our stay I looked for details of the fee on their website and couldn’t find any. We got in at 1 AM and had to agree to an additional $50 for my dog. Also, they don’t post the fee to the credit card until over a month later.
