Outdated and run down hotel
Shilo Inn Suites Hotel - Seaside OceanfrontThe best thing about this hotel is the location on the beach. The room that we reserved was not available when we arrived due to “wind damage” but then we met someone who was staying in it. Very poorly maintained room. Fireplace did not work and a massive generator blocked the view and sounded like a jet taking off. No housekeeping available and the whole place was tired and falling apart. On a positive note, very dog friendly with lots of dogs staying there. There are probably much better hotels for the same rate.

Great Dog Hotel
Motel 6 Dixon CANice hotel and very accommodating for dogs. Dog friendly staff and there was a field behind the hotel to walk the dogs.

Stay next door instead
Morro Shores Inn and SuitesThis hotel charged $25 for each dog for each night. The Motel 6 beside it does not charge. This hotel is run down and in need of repair. They are money grubbing and a sign in the office warns of a $50 fine if caught trying to bring in an undeclared pet.
