Vermin sanctuary!

Even bargain-priced hotels need to conform to health standards! I found roaches in my room every day of my four day stay. The cover was missing on the non-functioning thermostat.(shock hazard = safety concern). Lighting in bathroom was unacceptable. The only operating fixture was over the sink. The ones behind the toilet and over the shower were both dead. The corner shower looked as though it was a hastily-installed and left unfinished unit. Although kudos for the safety grab bars. There were no towel bars and one of these grab bars served as a place to hang a towel. The exhaust fan was “coverless”.
I should’ve checked out the minute I checked in, but I know from prior experience that the other pet friendly in the area are almost as bad as this. My advice is to have low expectations if you choose to stay here. I’m investigating alternatives!
