My mini Australian Labradoodle Hugo is quite the world traveler. He loves hotels where the staff will play with him, and is very well trained to respect others :). Prefers people to dogs!

Fantastic Hotel for People and Pets!
The Blake HotelOn a recent stay in New Haven, I had the pleasure to stay at the Blake with my mini labradoodle Hugo (about 20 pounds). Not only did I love my room, but the hotel loved Hugo and made him feel so at home! They keep a water bowl with the names of all the pets "in residence" on the wall above - and when things aren't busy, the staff is more than willing to play gently with Hugo and give him the cuddles he loves. Yale campus and it's green cross-campus is a short walk away to have some good pet exercise. But honestly the reason to stay at The Blake is the way they treat PEOPLE! The service is outstanding (check on trip advisor), among the best in any where I have stayed, and the rooms super comfy and well cared for. Can't wait to go back!
