Bad experience

I've been traveling with my dog for over 10 years. Stayed in hotels and vacation homes. This is the first time that I had a horrible experience at a pet "friendly" facility. Although this was a "pet friendly" hotel, our dog did not receive a nice welcome. Everyone seemed to be unhappy to be around our dog, from the unfriendly security guard to the kitchen crew. I don't know why because she is the friendliest dog. All the guests wanted to pet her EXCEPT for the Embassy Suites workers. Maybe because she is a Rottie? If so, I feel that they need to educate themselves about Rotties or they should not allow any doges. In addition, the hotel was filthy, my relatives found a condom wrapper next to the bed and a pill under a table (if they had cleaned it, they would have found it. I'm glad that we found it and not our dog as things could be worst. It's interesting that it's a pet friendly room and they DO charge extra for cleaning (do they really clean?). Towels and TOILET paper were provided after the THIRD request. Customer service was horrible; they did not respond and when they did, they had an attitude. This is the worst experience ever!
