there are 2 sections open at a time, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. there is small shade options on each side along with a few benches for the humans. during the weekday it can be pretty quiet but usually really picks up after work hours. lots of friendly people who seem to do a great job keeping an eye on their pups!
they have a water spicket you can fill the buckets for water bowls which is nice
lots of poop stations for easy clean up
since it is a park that’s run by the city it can often be closed due to weather, bad conditions etc so i always call and/or check the app before going!

we take our dog here very often, it’s his favorite park! huge off leash, fenced in area that is for both big and small dogs. it has a pavilion with benches, a shallow pond with dock for dogs to dive off of and walking trail around the pond. there’s a huge grassy area behind pond that’s partly flat with some hills for you to play fetch or run your pup.
there are bathrooms right outside the gate, very clean for park bathrooms!
***it can get muddy and therefore they close it- instead of driving there and being upset it’s closed cal the rainoutline! (636) 707-0011 option 1- it will tell you the status of the park, super helpful!***
ps- we’ve always had pleasant conversations and interactions with people there and have not run in to any aggressive dogs or dog fights!

lots of local pups come and hang out here and zip has made some new friends! there’s a general area for the pups and a seperate area for shy/reactive pups. cute area with a walking trail around the property. also has water for the dogs. love it!

it was cold when we went so we had the park to ourselves. there’s separate areas for big dogs and little dogs which is nice. lots of places for them to run around and even some agility courses! which my big black lab was too clumsy to do lol. all in all it was a great park!

we stopped by on our way from illinois to arizona (i used to live in lenexa which is why i knew about this dog park) and 3 years later it’s just as amazing!
we have a big black lab whose kind of shy so he didn’t engage too much with the other pups but he did throughly enjoy sniffing around the park! all of the pups and their humans were very friendly! clean park with poop bags and trash bins and big clean bathrooms which is great when you’re stopping by in the middle of traveling!

Loved this hotel because it was SO dog friendly. Even gave us some dog treats when we checked in! There are lots of pups around and we were surprised at how much we didn’t really hear any of them. A few times our dog heard them walking down the halls and sounded his alarm but otherwise it was a quiet stay! They're in the process of remodeling so there’s some old with the new but all in all it’s a great stay! Good breakfast, hot tub, pool and gym for the humans. Oh and if you do stay there go to Chicos which is right down the road, amazing food and you won’t regret it!

They had no issues with our 80 pound black lab, which was great! They put us on the third floor (my husband and I didn’t even think to ask for the first floor) which was ultimately fine but our pup did not like the elevator. The hotel itself has a great breakfast bar and the rooms were clean. Front desk was awesome!
