Great hotel!

Was just a quick overnight stay while on the road but the room was clean, the front desk was friendly (checking in and out), the bed was comfortable, very pet friendly, and one of the best things was the small pet area they had outside - made taking the dogs out so much easier!! They had a free breakfast but unfortunately I left before it was served so I can’t comment but the coffee was delicious!

Nice large dog park!

This was a nice park, large area to run dogs, mostly dirt but had grassy patches on either end, no real shade except on one side, but did have some seating for owners right at the entrance. Did not notice water available (I brought water and bowl with me). Had smaller area for small dogs. Overall area was clean very little dog poop around on the ground. Is shaped in an L shape so there was a good amount of area for the dogs to really run and play. Was a quiet weekday morning when I was there and was only one using the large dog park so can't comment on how other owners/dogs are or how often it is uses.

Nice area to run the dogs

Stopped in the area for a quick run of the dogs as we were traveling through the state. Overall nice park, would use again, had bark/dirt mostly, had couple different fenced areas and I believe an unfenced larger grass area to run dogs on. There was water and bags there for waste, and benches for owners and trees for shade. Is located on the back side of a sports area (someone had posted it was a softball field?) but there wasn't anyone using it at the time so can't comment on how that affects the park use.

Very dog friendly

This was a great option. Yes its an older hotel, so don't expect everything to be shiny new and the morning buffet was limited in options but tasted decent. It was overall very clean, the rooms were larger than usual, beds were very comfortable, and for me a bonus was they have DirecTV service. The location itself was close to the freeway for easy arrival and departure. The staff was very friendly, the room I was given was on the main floor, two doors down from an exit which made taking the dogs in and out very easy and I was able to keep noise to a minimum when they wanted out at 2am!
Negative for this place was that the grassy area surrounding the hotel is full of burrs and made it difficult for the dogs to go pee/poop because their paws kept getting stickers. One big caution - not the hotel's responsibility at all as they don't own the area - is the lot next to the hotel looks like a great walking option but is actually full of broken bottles as it looks like its used to by people drinking and throwing out their bottles.

Nice Hotel

Overall I would say this would be considered a great option for most people especially if you were going to Flagstaff specifically for someone attending Northern Arizona University (its located across the street from the University). The hotel itself was very nice, modern, very friendly staff, good rooms, good downstairs eating options (hosted evening cocktails and morning buffet breakfast), good parking (parking garage with limited outside access that has a sky walk directly into the hotel) and was more centrally located. It definitely a 4-5 star type of hotel.

For me the limitations of the hotel were that there is almost no outside dog area for them to do their business (they did have dog waste pick-up bag stand right outside main lobby door) - all the outside landscaping was in rocks, the only grass was across the street in front of a restaurant which of course could lead to issues if they complained or someone wasn't responsible and didn't pick up after their pet. My second main issue was the hotel is up and down (6 floors) not side to side - meaning I was on the 4th floor and every time I had to take the dogs out it meant going down the elevator and through the lobby to take them out - for most this isn't an issue for me I was traveling by myself so it was more challenging than just being on the ground floor near an exit. If I was traveling with someone I would definitely consider this again.

Only ok

Traveling cross county and need someplace close to the hotel to run my dogs - the area is good sized, fenced and had both a large and small area, but I don’t believe the water was working as several owners had brought their own bowls and water.
I would agree with another poster that whole most owners watched there were some owners don’t do a lot to monitor their dogs, my dogs are good but twice had a dog run and just slam into one and another tried to mount my female, which she doesn’t like and will immediate put the other dog in their place.
The other thing was the absolutely unbelievable amount of unpicked up droppings - just every where - I had to watch every step.
