Really yummy Mediterranean food. Dog friendly patio. Wiped down the outside table to make sure dust free.
Fast and friendly service and everything was delicious.
Stands out from other choices in the area.

Great space. Well appointed

Easy off highway access. Large area with shaded tables. Water stations in both small dog and main sections. Some play structures for the dogs as well. Plenty of doggie waste bag dispensers available.

Good location

Very roomy accommodations. Breakfast included on site, which is convenient and there is a patio outside for you and Fido. Not a lot of green space to walk your dogs, but nice dog park within a couple miles for running around. I would stay here again.

Very pet-friendly boutique hotel

Lovely 6-room boutique hotel off the main strip. Really nice shady large patio area where you can order great food and drinks and relax for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Rooms were very roomy, nicely appointed. Not a large puppy relief area, but you can definitely walk pup around the back parking lot area. Parking lot attached.

Convenient dog-friendly hotel

Easy check-in, with some dog treats. Blanket for pup in the room. Room was good size, location was good. Nothing fancy, but accommodations were fine.

Huge area to run!

Large space. There is a gated entrance, but once past that is a wide open unfenced off leash area.
A little difficult to find so use website address: 21850 US-160
There is a small dirt parking lot, follow the dirt path (going in direction of downtown) for about 100 yards and gate will be in your right.

Shaded sitting/picnic area. Lots of dogs. You can get in a good walk as well!

Big partially fenced park. Off leash

This is a large space for your dog to run with shaded areas.
Be aware that the park is not fully fenced (maybe 75%) so if your pup needs to be in a fully enclosed dog park this is not for them.
We went there a couple of time while overnight in Winnemucca - and thought it was great for our dog

Small but very nice dog park

Not very large, but big enough for larger dogs to get a good run and play catch.
Lots of seating, water fountain for humans and dogs. Well kept up and lovely space. Nice sized parking lot attached

Great easy hike

Our dog was off leash and loved it. Some paths washed out, but overall pretty easy to follow the trail. The faux falls were lovely. The lake was great spot for our dog to cool down.

Great off leash trail

Dogs are allowed off leash on odd numbered days. Bikes are not allowed on those same odd-numbered days which is great for the pups. Very well maintained trail that ends in a small stream for Fido to cool off.

Lovely display of cactus and nice nursery

Great museum and great docent staff

Very welcoming to dogs on leash. Lots to see. the docent staff was mostly veterans- who were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Well maintained facility- enjoyed our visit! definitely a good trip with your dog on a hot day.

A little oasis - worth exploring

About 2 dirt miles off a main road (route 62), but so worth it. It has been over 115 degrees this week, but we decided to chance a hike here. really beautiful terrain and a small creek (maybe bigger in winter). well maintained.

Nicely maintained off leash dog park

well maintained park. nice roomy fenced off leash dog areas with obstacle course structure for your dogs small and large.
there is also a nice 2.5 mile paved walking trail around the perimeter of the park where you and leashed dogs can walk.
highly recommend if in the area - easy to find, plenty of parking and near shopping and dining.

No frills accommodations, friendly staff

Plain wrap accommodations, but very easy check in and check out. Simple breakfast buffet in the mornings which is very convenient. The location is very northern part of Sacramento which is away from most of the “action” but close to some nice easy hiking trails that are dog-on-leash friendly.

Great accommodations and roomy

Nice roomy accommodations, big area to walk your pups. Friendly and helpful staff. Unexpected plus- your pups can join you in the dining room. Would definitely recommend. It’s a good halfway point overnighter between SF and Portland.

Great location and accommodations

Well located between downtown and the water, very convenient and walkable. Clean and roomy accommodations, with a balcony for you and your pups. On-site dog washing station was GREAT! You could let your pups run and get dirty, knowing you could bathe and clean them up before entering your room! such a nice addition! A liquor/deli/convenience store is right across the street - open long hours in case you suddenly need anything (and you always do). We definitely recommend this place when traveling with your dogs and would stay here again!

Great activity

Enjoyed a 1.5 electric boat rental with both of our dogs. very easy check in and check out. Nice staff. So nice to be able to do this type of activity with the pups (who enjoyed the ride!)

Good place to take the dogs!

about 2 miles away from downtown. Nice sized fenced in areas (one for small dogs one for larger dogs). two water stations. couple of buckets of toys left behind from previous visitors in case you forgot to bring some. went there a couple of times during our long weekend.
