Nice hotel but
Stoney Creek Hotel Quad Cities - MolineWe stayed at Stoney Creek for one night with our small dog when traveling from Ohio to PA. The room was very spacious and set up nicely with the usual microwave, fridge and TV. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean. There were plenty of grassy areas for our dog to relieve himself and get some exercise, however not fenced in so if your dog is a runner, not a good idea.
Now the “but”. We were not told before we made the reservation that there were major renovations going on. The dining area was closed, which is manageable, but the problem was that the air throughout the hallways was full of the dust resulting from the construction. Being an asthmatic, this made it uncomfortable for me. But on the plus side, once the renovations are done and things are back to normal, this hotel will be an outstanding place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Perfect!
Shadow Mountain Lodge and CabinsWe only stayed one night but the room was beautiful and large enough that we didn’t feel cramped. Bed was very comfortable, nice shower and very clean. Right outside is a very nice spacious grassy area so our dog could get some much needed exercise after being in the car for hours. It’s not fenced in so that could be a problem if your dog is a runner, but ours isn’t so not a concern.
