Didn’t Feel Safe

As a single female, I travel alone with my two dogs. My reservation had me staying at the Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Friday-Sun, Sept. 23-26th. The first night there I did not feel safe. There was quite a bit of foot traffic around the exterior of the hotel. I couldn’t tell if they were residents or traveling through because there was an outdoor event down the road. Many were men alone or in small groups as well as teenagers. Again, they could have been residents. However, I’m not use to staying at hotels with that unsafe feeling and I personally did not feel safe. I checked out Sunday morning without staying that third night which would have been Sunday night.
