Uncooperative management

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Napa American Canyon an IHG Hotel

I booked a room with 2 queens for 2 people and 2 large dogs through. When we arrived we were told that there was only a king bed room and that the reservation allowed them to choose the room. We left and drove home as a king would not allow anyone to get a good night's sleep. BringFido confirmed that the room had been booked as 2 queens but the hotel was unwilling to refund the room. BringFido graciously sent us the refund. It is hard to understand why the hotel would have such an uncompromising position given that BringFido facilitates their bookings. I will definitely try to avoid Holiday Inns in the future as their refund policy must be company wide.
