Fun place

Kind of tight when it comes to parking and we didn’t get a pet welcome bag when we checked in, but overall a great hotel.

Friendly staff, great location!

We got the hotel last minute to visit my sister and mom, who were visiting, but staying at a non- pet friendly resort. I was surprised to find the hotel was at the base of reservoir hill and a stones throw from the hot springs and downtown. The dogs loved playing in the river, hanging out at the breweries, and meeting so many new friends (and meeting their auntie for the first time). Although the hotel is undergoing renovations, we never heard construction sounds and the rooms were nice and clean. Best value in Pagosa by far!

Terrible staff, good location

We had a last minute business related trip that took us to Havasu and this was the only hotel available. I own a 65 lb female Great Pyrenees and a 68 lb male German Shepherd. The woman checking me in (through a window, using a microphone to talk to me, and a very heavy accent I could barely understand) was insisting my dogs were too big and that there was a 150 lb weight limit to the dogs. I kept telling her they were within the limits and then she wanted $100 in cash as a deposit. I told her she wasn’t going to get it because I don’t carry cash. She then got on the phone with somebody and then said they would put the hold on my credit card (standard), but it would be 7 days to get it back since I didn’t have cash. She then kept yelling to not leave the dogs in the room. I said I wasn’t (could take them to where we needed to work), but she kept reiterating it like I didn’t understand. Their lobby was closed for “COVID protocols” despite this being June and the city is completely reopened. My husband confronted the staff and they said they were being safe. In reality, they were being cheap and using the pandemic to not have free services they advertise. I can’t say I expect much out of a motel 6, but I paid $156 with tax, and they suddenly changed their rules when I came to check in. If you can avoid this place, do so at all cost.

Last minute find

We were supposed to be flying back home in our plane from the nearby Centennial airport when our plane experienced a mechanical issue. Stranded and scrambling to get a mechanic, a timeline, a car, etc, I pulled up BringFido since we wouldn’t be leaving that night and had a Great Pyrenees and a German Shepherd. La Quinta was only 2 miles away, no pet fee, took multiple big dogs, and were very affordable. The staff was extremely nice, the room was very large, and the internet was fast. We will be staying here again when we go back for the plane and would recommend the place to any pilots with pooches

Great for dogs

Hotel is a bit dated. Very low water pressure and no hot water in the sink. However, the low fee for our dogs and dog friendly areas were nice

AMAZING!!!

we have a Great Pyrenees and German Shepherd. it’s very hard to find a place to stay. I had to work remotely for a few days and my husband had work in the area, so I needed a place that allowed big dogs and high speed Internet and found this place. I cannot day enough good things. I was able to connect all 3 of my required electronic devices to internet l, which worked flawlessly through the day. The dogs were welcomed guests and had a nice yard to go in and out of through the dog door. Joe, the owner, was amazing. He was checking in to make sure things were okay, got us doggy shampoo l, which we used a lot after taking the dogs to the river, which you can access on the property. laundry and kitchen access was a great help as well.

if you have dogs and are in the Methow Valley, this is a must go place!

Great for views and pilots

Wonderful cabins next to Trail heads and the airport. Free shuttle to town as well. This was an excellent hotel all around for somebody wanting to take in the natural beauty of Sedona
