Just not great

Actually my second time staying here. First time they were under construction and I guess I gave a pass. Now feel compelled to review. Overall, it doesn’t feel like a La Quinta. If you travel with dogs a lot, you’re well aware. The bed was nice and breakfast normal, but overall it has a run down vibe. Feels more like a Motel 6. Bathroom seemed gross and caked in 18 layers of paint. They didn’t provide enough towels, soap and no body wash so had to go to desk. Cleaning only refreshed towels during the day which didn’t lend faith to what they did between stays. Hallway alarms were beeping all night and elevators are slow for broken.

Lobby always seems to have bags piled up and people sitting around. No poop bags in the holders - not a nice area to walk in to begin with and now filled with dog poop. Always seemed to be police parked outside and couldn’t decide if that was good or bad. Parking lot full of trash and chicken bones and all sorts of dog trouble. It’s affordable for the area but just not a nice place.
