Good but really basic
SureStay Plus by Best Western Louisville Airport ExpoWe had an ok stay at this hotel. The area was a bit sketchy but we felt safe enough at the hotel. The rooms were ok nothing extraordinary about them. They felt really cold and a bit sterile. The worst part is that the shower water was tepid, not hot at all, and after a long day driving all you want is a nice hot shower...well not here. I guess for what we needed which was a simple safe night stay it was good enough. They were really great in giving us a room towards the back with easy access to the pet area. However, the pet area which would ideally be great if kept in good condition was a disappointment. Full of poop from irresponsible pet parents and worst of all broken glass. We had to be really careful with our pups and carry them to a clean enough area so that they could go to the bathroom.

Good Enough Stay
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Ballpark/GalleriaWe stayed one night on our road trip down to Florida. The stay was decent enough. The good part: Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The room was close enough to the exit so it was easy to take the pups out to the bathroom. The bathroom area is just grass strips next to the parking spot, but good enough if you are staying a short time. Now the not so good: The hotel looks like an old hotel with some lipstick on. The rooms are just old looking and it does not matter that they are trying to add a few things to make them look more upscale they just look old and cheap. The microwave is from the 70's and the refrigerator did not cool at all, and that was the second fridge in the room because the original did not work at all. Also the front desk clerk had a really bad attitude with us at first. He warmed up a bit afterwards, but was so unexpected it left a bad impression with us. Overall, if it's a 1 night stay it's good enough. More nights, not worth it.
