Very dog and cat friendly
The Boxboro RegencyLocated in an area with open space of grass, parking, and woods. Reasonable rates, easy off and on from main road. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Very good food. I overheard one patron saying the food was just as good as any upscale restaurant. I have to agree. The restaurant is open for later in the day for dinner. The kitchen is open in the morning till mid afternoon for takeout breakfast and lunch. This time around I had the breakfast sandwich and it was about the best I have ever had.
I haven't used the pool located in the spacious atrium yet but it is nice to have the option and very pretty area to sit and relax. There are rooms assigned specifically for 'pets with people' and I believe they must all be in one section of the hotel. The room; good water pressure and usual bath supplies. Clean bedding and room. Good television connection. We used this as a stop over on the way to visit the New England Arboretum which is just 20 minutes away and also dog friendly...selling both human and dog tickets :) Makes a nice getaway weekend.
