Polarizing Experience

If you are staying here, call ahead. There are 2 towers, connected by an indoor walkway. That means 2 parking and valet areas. If travelling with a pet, knowing which tower you are in 401 or 402 will make life a lot easier knowing where to park so you aren't going out of your way from parking to room. If you prefer valet parking, make sure you aren't driving a truck. They will refuse to valet park any vehicle over 15 feet. Want room service? So did we, and it is advertised, however, try ordering. Everything as selected said Not Available, and then disappeared from the page. BTW, everything was available, downstairs at the Gallerie bar so you will have to go in person, order it, and take it back to the room. The room was decent, food good, and a lot of locations to choose from, accommodating for our pet, and all in all good service internally. Just the details need to be worked out from valet to room service.

I understand it is not the Four Seasons, but after driving for many hours to be told they can't valet park me, then parking myself and getting yelled at for parking in valet, after being told to park in valet spots got my stay, and blood pressure started on the wrong foot. I was apologized too many times at the front desk and received a room credit. If I had known I was in 402, I wouldn't have parked at 401 after the valet. We come to the hotel with our pet to relax and spend time together therefore the interest in room service. Nice hotel, great gym area in 402, friendly staff, awesome art work and art features, good food, and the market had a great selection of anything needed. Once I got over the valet and room service situation, we enjoyed our stay.

Great place for dogs

They even gave us a sign to hand on the door handle that there was a dog. We were on a floor with other dogs and seen quite a few being walked.

Easy

No issues checking in and we checked in at 11:30pm, room was on first floor near the exit making it easy to take our dog in and out. The Navy Yard area is very quiet and peaceful at night.
