Caution
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott TucumcariI started out with a great review for cleanliness and no issues with staff. Only to come home and check my credit card to see they had charged an extra $116.69 over 3 days on my card 1st day was a $20, 2nd was a $60, and then the 3rd day was a $36.69. I had already paid ahead of time and no damage was done. When I tried to call the front desk hung up on me and I got a voicemail of the "manager". Also never received an e-mail receipt from hotel. Avoid this place if possible.

Little Gem
Verde Valley RV & Camping ResortStayed in one of their little cabins and was very clean. Air conditioning was the best. Dog walk area for grass was a tad too small. Quiet little gem if you're in the area though!

Pretty Good
La Quinta by Wyndham Mesa Superstition SpringsNeeds some updating, bathroom tub was stained yellow. Housekeeping could be better. Someone allowed their little dog to poop by elevator and it was still there from the night we arrived at 3:30 pm to when we left at 7:30 am.

Great Spot
Horseshoe BendAwesome easy walking trail down to the ledge, gets hot fast so don't forget your water for the pup!
