Dog friendly but very run down

We are always in need of a dog friendly hotel/motel. Usually, La Quinta fits the bill. This was not the case with our latest stay. The hotel was markedly old and run down. Our room was musty and the carpet was worn and torn in places. However, it was a place to sleep for a night.
