Bartender was a jerk

we walked in the front door with our well behaved dog, knowing we would have to go to the back patio. He immediately said you can’t have a dog inside, it has to stay outside. We explained that we didn’t know how to access the back patio without coming inside and we were just walking through. He said he didn’t care, it was the equivalent of walking through with a cigarette.
