Clean, sufficient room
Holiday LodgeThe on-site manager, Tracy, was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was simple. Clean, sizable room as advertised. Good TV with lots of choices of channels. Microwave and fridge. You can park 6’ from your door if you are on the 1st floor. There is an area to walk your dog and you are only a 2 minute drive to a small dog park in the center of town or a bigger park on the edge of town. Short walking distance to food and casino. If you just need a decent room for the night that allows your dog, this is a great choice. I would stay here again.

Good hotel not so great pet accommodations
Comfort Inn & Suites Near Fallon Naval Air StationThe hotel and staff were great. I really liked no carpet and vinyl flooring. Made the room feel really clean. However, the pet relief area was a small patch of dirt in the back between the dumpster and the electric power box. Old barbecues and 2 stacks of wood pallets took up some of the already small area. A sign to clean up after your pet was next to a bag dispenser that hadn’t been filled in ages. The small dirt area was clean though. Not a great area to try to walk my dog. But I did find a great dog park just a couple miles down US 95.
