    Well maintained dog park

after reading the reviews for the dog park I was a little concerned but we took Tink to check it out. There was adequate space for dogs to run, the fences are well maintained and there are several things of interest for dogs: fire hydrants, buckets for water, bench for owners, agility equipment. we enjoyed our stop at this dog park.

    Holes In fence

lots of holes in fence would not recommend taking a dog here if they are an escape artist

    So much potential...

Large area with separate small dog and big dog areas run by Chattanooga park department that could be a wonderful park for dogs/owners that live in the city. Unfortunately, when we visited several times in March/ April 2018 the fences & gates were in need of repairs and the water was not working. I sent emails to city, but haven’t gotten a response on those issues. The last straw for me was when they decided to monetize the parking lot which usually only had patrons of the dog park or nextdoor skate park. I also emailed regarding that decision and asked if they would consider free parking at least in areas used by park patrons. Got a response that they would have their lawyers look into it. Still waiting. There’s a better dog park about the same distance from us, so we haven’t been back.

    Fence repairs needed.

If you have a large dog it is great however, be warned about small dogs escaping. I have called the city multiple times about the fence needing repair. Our Jack Russell manages to escape nearly every time we go. More escape routes are in the large dog section however, multiple holes in the fence connect the small dog section to the large dog section - so then he can easily escape the holes found in the large dog area.

    Clean

We bring our corgi here once a week and have never had a problem with the park. Other owners are good about watching their dogs, cleaning up after them (although we have seen a couple of "landmines"), but for the most part it is fairly clean. I like that there is a seperate fenced area for smaller dogs as my corgi does not do well around big, energetic dogs.

Disappointed with Chew Chew Dog Park

This park needs some repairs and updating. The entrance has some fencing that needs to be replaced and the gates need work. There is a lot of dog poo which means the pet owners are not doing there part to help maintain the park for the dogs. It is smaller than other parks I have been to. The Greenway Farms dog park in Hixson is a much better choice.

    Chattanooga Poo Poo

Large area for dogs to run. Water in the parks gets turned off early in December, so remember to bring your own supply. I took my dog there hoping to throw the foam frisbee for her to run after but decided not to as there was dog poo all over the fenced-in area. Despite an overflowing tube of available pick-up bags, this park was overrun with landmines. Deeeeesgusting!

    fun stop

Easy access off the interstate. Stopped here to let our pup stretch his legs. Great fenced area with plenty of space to run, fresh water access, benches, some shade and agility pieces. Separate area for smaller dogs. We were first to arrive but about 8 other dogs came out. Owners were attentive and we got to share about Bring Fido!!

Cute Park with Agility Equipment and Drinking Water

This is a cute park- not huge but definitely big enough for big dogs to run. There are several agility apparatuses to play on and a plastic pool near the water fountain for the dogs to romp in. When we entered the listed address into our GPS it gave us the same street number but Regie White Blvd, which worked. As you pull into the driveway there is a sign for the dog park, which is to the left. We would definitely stop by again should we pass that way.
