JF Gregory Park

This is a very well kept park with a long hiking trail that follows a canal. Dogs must be leashed, and owners must pick up waste. There is a nice playground area and plenty of picnic tables in wooded areas.

Fort McAllister State Park

This is the ultimate pet-friendly historic attraction. Leashed dogs are welcome in the museum, on the historic fort grounds, and on Red Bird Creek trail. Historic Site Admission is as follows: $9 Adults, $8 Seniors (62+), $5 Youth (6-17), $2 Child (Under 6). In addition, there is a $5 ParkPass fee in all Georgia State Parks. Annual Park Passes and Friends Memberships are available at the park office. Call for further details.
