Pet Friendly Wildwood Dog Park and Beach
Wildwood Dog Park and Beach Wildwood Dog Park and Beach is pet-friendly. Formerly the Poplar Avenue Beach, this is a dog-friendly spot to romp in the sand and surf. Owners can walk their dog under the boardwalk at Maple Avenue to access the beach. The area features plenty of room for you and your pooch to soak up the sun and take a dip. Dogs must be leashed on the beach itself, but the nearby dog park is leash-free. Fresh water is only available inside of the park, not on the beach. There are no opening times for the beach, but the City recommends swimming while a lifeguard is present. See Details
Pet Friendly Cape Henlopen State Park
Cape Henlopen State Park Cape Henlopen State Park has many year-round hiking and biking opportunities, and allows leashed dogs on the beach in the summer season. Pets are allowed in the seashore park/beaches all day without limitation of time of day (six miles of dog-friendly fun). Dogs are not permitted on the boardwalk, ocean beach, or any swimming areas designated by the Parks Division as not allowing dogs from May 1 to September 30. See Details

Wildwood Crest Bike Bath Cyclists can enjoy a FREE scenic bike route that runs nearly the entire length of the 5-mile island, beginning at Rambler Road in Wildwood Crest. The beach side bicycle path runs north, continuing on the world famous Wildwoods Boardwalk at Cresse Avenue via the bike ramp connector. The Boardwalk stretches 2.5 miles north to a connecting ramp between 15th and 16th Avenues in North Wildwood. From there, cyclists can continue along a path on the beach through the Mulberry Grove to 3rd Avenue and the Sea Wall in North Wildwood. A special ?bikes only? lane is also dedicated throughout the length of North Wildwood, from 1st to 26th Avenues along Surf Avenue and on the North Wildwood Sea Wall. Bicycles are allowed on the Boardwalk from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m. only during weekdays and until 10:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays. See Details

The park is double gated for easier entry and introduction. The City of Cape May Dog Park is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. Dogs must have a dog park tag to enter the park.
