Doggywood at Dollywood Although dogs are not allowed in the Dollywood amusement park, visitors traveling to the Smoky Mountains with their dogs can leave Fido at Dollywood's very own kennel, Doggywood, for the day while they visit the park. The kennel even has a few individual cottages for dogs needing a little extra privacy. Smith & Lentz mainly focuses on hoppy ales and lagers. The craft brewery is open Monday through Wednesday from 4pm to 10pm, Thursday from 4pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from noon until midnight, and Sunday from noon until 8pm. See Details
Mayfield Dairy Visitors Center Located about 5 miles off of I-75 between Knoxville and Chattanooga, this makes a fun stop for the family, with or without your dog. The Mayfield Dairy Visitor's Center has a beautiful covered porch with seats and overhead fans where you can order your favorite flavor of ice cream through the window and sit and enjoy it with your dog. Inside for people only is a 30 minute tour of the ice cream factory, a Mayfield novelty store, and the ice cream shop. We have been here with and without our dog. When it was just us humans, we really enjoyed touring the factory and shopping inside with a nice ice cream cone in hand. On our last stop, our dog came along so we just came by to stretch our legs and eat ice cream on their porch. Family members may choose to take turns going inside for the tour while one of the party waited on the porch with the dog. Mayfield Diary Visitor Center is a nice relaxing stop after being on a long interstate drive, and well worth a visit. See Details
Beechcraft Heritage Museum The Beechcraft Heritage Museum is a distinctly original "living and working" aviation museum that traces the lineage of the Beechcraft family of airplanes. The Museum began life as the Staggerwing Museum Foundation in 1973. In 2007, the Museum became the Beechcraft Heritage Museum to reflect the commitment to promoting aviation education and preserving the heritage nurtured by generations of enthusiasts of all Beechcraft models from 1932 through the present. The Museum is situated in an picturesque campus-style setting adjacent to Tullahoma, TN Regional Airport (THA). The Museum is pet friendly. Well behaved pets may roam off leash around the grounds.
