PetSafe Village Dog Park

Knoxville's first dog park at PetSafe Village features agility equipment, a pond, doggy water fountain, walking trails, picnic tables and park benches. This park is just over one acre in size. The park is designated "on leash" only except after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Chattanooga Chew Chew Canine Park

Chattanooga Chew Chew Canine Park has lots of greenery, benches, fire hydrants, water fountains, waste removal, and agility equipment. The area is fully-fenced with separate sections for small and large dogs.

Tommy Shumpert Park at PetSafe Village

The Tommy Shumpert Park is affiliated with Pet Safe Village and has two separate off-leash fenced in dog parks. One for small dogs (30 lbs and under) and one for dogs of any size. The small dog park has lots of grass and mulch to keep your pup's feet comfy. There are benches and lots of space for small dogs to run around without getting harassed by the big dogs. The "all sizes" area has lots of grass, benches, and a mulch walking trail. It also has a pond with a dock so your dogs can swim around during the hot months. Bring lots of towels because it will get muddy.

Centennial Dog Park

Memphis Dog Park

In June 2010, the city of Memphis opened its first city-run dog park. Located at 2599 Avery (behind the Memphis City Schools Board of Education), the park features two fenced in dog areas -- one acre for dogs over 25 pounds and a separate half acre for smaller dogs. Biodegradable bags are provided for waste cleanup but there is no water service at the park. Dogs must have up to date vaccinations.

Shelby Farms

Shelby Farms is a huge park with numerous walkways and jogging paths through the beautiful forested areas, and it contains picnic areas and playgrounds as well. There are several lakes and ponds that are inhabited by wild life. One whole section of the park is dedicated specifically to dogs. They can run unleashed and go swimming in either of the two lakes provided for them.

This new park located along the Cumberland River in Downtown Nashville gives beautiful views of the downtown skyline, sits on 11 acres of green space and includes Nashville's first and only downtown dog park. The downtown park includes the Ascend Amphitheater, solar charging stations, an 18,000 sq foot area of botanical gardens maintained by Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, plenty of seating for picnics, or enjoying the view of the Cumberland River from one of the giant porch swings. There are even areas within the park that offer free wifi. The dog park is 13,000 square feet of fenced, eco-friendly artificial turf, and is a great place for Fido to run and play. All the water fountains and bottle filling stations in the park include a fountain for Fido as well.

Presented by the Overton Park Conservancy and Hollywood Feed, Overton Bark has separate areas for large and small dogs, water fountains, and a natural wood-chip surfacing. Opened in June 2012, Overton Bark is a dog park for Midtown Memphis and the surrounding area. This 1.3-acre enclosed dog park borders the Old Forest and the Rainbow Lake Playground. The area includes water fountains, obstacles, clean-up stations, and separate areas for large and small dogs. Rustic log benches provide a natural seating area for people to relax while their dogs socialize. Overton Bark is open from dawn to dusk each day.

Harlinsdale Farm, located across Franklin Rd from The Factory shops, has a dog park. One area for all dogs (not separate for small and large). Some benches for owners, though not a great deal of shade.

City of Loudon Parks & Recreation Dog Park

This is a brand new off leash dog park in Loudon TN. There are three separate fenced-in areas for Fido to play in. The park does include an area for medium and large dogs. A nice clean restroom is provides for Fido's owners. This is not a very big park but Loudon is not a very big town so in my opinion the park is "just right" for the area. There is parking for probably 6 to 10 vehicles including a handicapped spot. Area "C" is free and not restricted. This area is designated for visitors only. A waiver does not need to be completed for this area. Area's "A" and "B" require the waiver as well as a $10.00 fee per dog for 6 months. The waiver must be returned to Loudon Parks & Recreation at 201 Alma Place Loudon TN, 37774 (865) 458-7525 or fax (865) 458-0833. You must a key for area "A" and "B".

Bass Pro Shops Memphis Pyramid
