Bring Fido to Laguna Beach’s The Cliff for an amazing meal with drinks and 180-degree ocean views from the dog-friendly, multi-level rooftop patios. The Cliff’s doggy menu features chicken, beef, salmon or prime rib, all served with oatmeal. If your pooch has a smaller appetite, order him all-natural organic treats like salmon snacks, carrot molasses, liver bites, calamari, pumpkin paws and more. The Cliff is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails seven days a week. Live music and fire pits add to the ambiance each night.

Spend the night with your pup at The Tides Laguna Beach and explore this beautiful coastal town the next day.

In Port Clinton, the covered rooftop deck at The Gristmill is a “pupular” spot for dog-owning diners. Featuring specialty cocktails, appetizers, and live entertainment on the weekends, The Gristmill knows how to “pawty”. The bar has won many accolades for its bartenders and its quality cocktails, all made with fresh-pressed juices, in-house mixes and infusions, and fresh herbs. Dogs really love the fresh water, too.

If you need a hotel for your trip, Best Western Port Clinton doesn’t charge a pet fee and allows three pets of any size.

Nibble on simple snacks like pretzels and chips or order an artisan cheese box in a cool, uber pet-friendly atmosphere. Try the Vertical Canine, a hoppy double IPA or sample several small beers and seltzers when you order a flight. Of course, H2O is available for your pup.

Fall into a comfy bed at The Emily Hotel, a boutique stay where your pup will be pampered with treats, beds, bowls and a grassy pet-relief area in the West Loop.
