You can pause for a moment at the waterfall around halfway up the pathway which has an old road leading to it. The trail climbs a few short, steep switchbacks before reaching the summit, with a spectacular view of Kyle Canyon. Be careful of wintery hikes as this spot is a major avalanche zone and clean up any mess that is left behind.

Whale Beach

Park up at the Secret Harbor Parking area and make your way to this popular stretch of beach that's also known as Black Sand Beach because of the color of the sand. Leashed dogs are welcome but must be cleaned up after and under control. There are grills and a toilet for humans to use.
