Pet Friendly Robinson Preserve in Bradenton, FL
With a few trails to choose from, Robinson Preserve is a lovely nature walk bordering the Manatee River and Perico Bayou. The Preserve provides waste bags, water fountains, and hoses at the parking lot, but not within the park. Do take water for your pups - the trails can get hot and there isn't much shade. Make sure to check out the observation tower, which provides clear views to Tampa Bay.
Pet Friendly Red Bug Slough Reserve in Sarasota, FL
Lots of shaded trails and interesting smells for the dogs! My dogs loved it there. Great to see a city preserve natural beauty and not build condos etc on it. Big pond/lake in the middle of it so the dogs could go in and cool down. Didn't see any dog water fountains but there were poop bags at the entrance off Beneva Rd and lots of trash cans throughout.
Pet Friendly Sapphire Shores Park in Sarasota, FL
Sapphire Shores Park is pet-friendly. Home for the sculpture “The One That Got Away” by Charles Meyrick. The park also has bike parking, the “Little Playground”, allows leashed pets and is a great location to watch the sunset or go fishing. Enjoy the trails together and have fun next to the water.
