Aloft describes itself as "the next generation of hotel." Always on-trend, tech-forward and “different by design,” the hotel chain offers a uniquely fun guest experience that extends to its four-legged customers. One of the fastest growing brands in hospitality, Aloft has expanded to more than 100 properties in 16 countries around the world. And each one firmly believes that Animals Are Fun. ARF is the name of the Aloft pet program, and its enthusiastic reception for furry friends has made it a preferred choice for pet parents in search of modern, sophisticated and inviting accommodations in an urban setting.
Ready to Make Aloft Your Home Away From Home?
Aloft boasts one of the best brand-wide pet policies in the business. Dogs up to 40 pounds aren’t merely accepted for no additional charge at every hotel across the chain; they’re greeted with a branded bed and bowl, complimentary treats and toys. The number of pets permitted for free varies by hotel, and many properties will permit larger dogs with prior approval.
While the rooms are comfortably appointed, two- and four-legged guests are also invited to mingle in the hotel’s open spaces. The lobby is a social hotspot equipped with a 24/7 snack bar, lounge and pool table, and often features live acts. Fido is welcome to hang out here if he doesn’t want to stay snuggled in his plush bed. The brand has also raised the technological standard. Perks like Apple Watch room access and Botlr, a robotic butler you can contact through your smartphone, artfully blend service, whimsy and innovation.
If you’re ready to make Aloft your pet-friendly home away from, BringFido makes it easy to find and book the one that suits your needs. You can browse our site or mobile app to search pet-friendly Aloft properties around the world that will accommodate you and your furry companions. And we do all the legwork for you. Aloft’s Pet Policy

Above and Beyond
It’s not often that you can leave a hotel with a new best friend in tow. These Aloft hotels have partnered with local rescues to house shelter dogs and make them available for adoption. Guests can meet, bond with and even walk the pups before deciding if they want to bring them home.
Aloft’s foster dog program began at the Aloft Asheville Downtown in 2014, and it’s been a guest (and puppy) favorite ever since. The hotel teamed up with Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue, which works to save dogs from a high-kill shelter. On May 16, 2018, the program marked an incredible milestone when Lolly, a Papillon Chihuahua mix, became its 100th shelter dog to find a new forever home.
Not to be outdone, the Aloft Orlando Downtown’s “Dog in Residence” Program celebrated its own 100th adoption barely one year after the program launched in partnership with Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
It’s the city’s first hotel foster program. A local architecture firm even provided a miniature replica of the property to serve as doghouse and enclosure for the foster pups.
BringFido’s home base of Greenville, SC is a town of dog lovers. The pet-friendly Aloft Greenville Downtown embodies this love for furry friends. Its pet adoption program in collaboration with Lucky Pup Rescue has welcomed fosters since 2016. Guests can meet their potential pals in a custom doghouse designed by a local architecture firm. A custom collar and leash is also donated to each adopted dog.
With more than 50 shelter dogs finding their forever homes as of July 2019, the adoption program at Aloft Tallahassee Downtown has been a success for pups and guests alike. The hotel works with Leon County Humane Society, Tallahassee’s largest no-kill, non-profit animal welfare organization. It also received a custom replica doghouse from a local construction company.
