Every month, more and more hotels are opening their doors to four-legged guests. Whether newly constructed or newly pet-friendly, here are six hotels that are welcoming furry friends for the first time in January.

Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown

When snow dogs are done exploring the wonders of “The Last Frontier,” they’ll find warm and inviting hospitality at Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown. Modern rooms and suites feature Cozy Corner sleeper sofas, spacious work desks, mini refrigerators and gorgeous mountain views. Guests can enjoy a hot and cold breakfast bar every morning or grab some tasty grub at the on-site pub. Other convenient amenities include an indoor swimming pool with hot tub, 24/7 fitness center and complimentary WiFi and parking.

Fido can breathe in crisp, clean Alaskan air while romping in the off-leash area at Arctic Benson Park.

Hyatt Place Anchorage Midtown welcomes pets of any size for an additional fee of $75 per week.

Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Davis

Located just west of the California state capital, the brand new Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Davis offers relaxing pet-friendly accommodations designed for long-term stays. Luxury studios and suites contain separate living areas with sofa beds, full kitchens with stovetops and dishwashers, small dining tables and free high-speed internet. Fuel up at the complimentary hot breakfast buffet, do strength and cardio training in the on-site fitness center, go for a swim or soak in the outdoor pool/hot tub, and grill burgers on the outdoor patio. Take advantage of additional amenities like guest laundry, a lobby market and an electric car charging station.

Take a short drive downtown to enjoy artisan pizza, hearty pasta and refreshing craft beer at Village Pizza & Grill. Leashed pups are permitted in the outdoor seating area.

Four-legged influencers looking to impress their followers will feel right at home at The Jacquard, Autograph Collection, nestled in Denver’s chic Cherry Creek District. This refined boutique hotel offers stylish rooms and suites equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, comfy sitting areas, mini refrigerators and large bathrooms with marble walk-in showers. Work out in a state-of-the-art fitness center, dine on sophisticated cuisine at the on-site restaurant, and take a dip, order a drink and marvel at the stunning Rocky Mountain views from the rooftop pool and lounge.

Pups can play off leash at Lowry Dog Park, a spacious, fully-fenced dog run near Lowry Air Force Base.

Red Roof PLUS Tuscaloosa University

Representing one of the few hotel brands that doesn’t charge a fee for pets, Red Roof PLUS Tuscaloosa University is always happy to open its doors to furry guests. Affordable and close to the University of Alabama, this Red Roof PLUS provides cozy rooms outfitted with laminate wood floors, work desks, and mini refrigerators and microwaves. Property amenities include a fitness center, on-site coin laundry, and complimentary breakfast, coffee in the lobby, WiFi and parking.

If the weather cooperates, Hurricane Creek Park offers miles of forest hiking trails that allow leashed pups.

Red Roof PLUS Tuscaloosa University accepts one pet up to 80 lbs for no additional fee.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago McCormick Place

Located in the heart of Chicago’s South Loop, Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago McCormick Place is the ideal dog-friendly spot to stay when visiting the Windy City. Apartment-style suites feature seating areas with double sleeper sofas, work desks, and full kitchens with refrigerators and dishwashers.
