Bring Fido to Hix Dog Park to play off-leash! Located next to the Hix Recreation Complex and Oxford Civic Club Park, the Dog Park is fenced and features play equipment, shade, and a clean-up station. Dog owners are allowed two dogs per visit. Dogs must be leashed prior to entering the double-gated entry, cleaned up after, and have on up-to-date rabies tags.
Pet Friendly Granville Athletic Park - Jonesland Environmental Preserve in Oxford, NC
The GAP is a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy the great outdoors. There are three miles of paved walking trails. The longest loop is 1.2 miles. There's a large picnic shelter and clean restrooms. There is also a playground with safe, modern equipment. There is ample parking as well. It also has an interesting history and is maintained by organic standards. All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. You must pick up after your pet.
