The Village Hotel

The Village Hotel welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $35 per pet, per night. A $150 refundable deposit is also due at check-in. Studio Suites are not pet friendly. Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms.

Highland Haven Creekside Inn

Highland Haven Creekside Inn welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Creekside 1 and Creekside 2 are the only pet-friendly rooms available. Well-behaved pets can be left unattended in rooms.

Fantastic Artists' home in town

Dogs are allowed at this 3-bedroom Airbnb rental in Aspen (if they get along well with other pets). Please contact Christie for more details on the pet fee, weight limit, and any other restrictions prior to booking.

Winding River Resort Village

Dogs are allowed at Winding River Resort Village, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle, attended to at all times, and be properly cleaned up after. Pets are not allowed in cabins or lodge rooms. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (970) 627-3215.

Union Reservoir Dog Beach

The Union Reservoir in Longmont, Colorado features a dog training area on the south side of the reservoir where dogs are allowed to roam off leash and swim in designated areas. Dogs must remain leashed in other areas of the park.

Chatfield State Park Off-Leash Dog Area

Chatfield State Park offers 70-acres of off-leash fun. A variety of terrains keep dogs interested in exploring the park. Other park features include multiple trails and ponds. Bring water for your pup and bags to clean up after your dog. There is a fee to enter the state park and an additional nominal fee to use the off-leash area. Annual passes are available for frequent visitors.

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Dogs are welcome to walk with their humans across North America's highest suspension bridge at Royal Gorge Bridge and Park. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome in the park, but are not permitted on any rides or inside the buildings. The park does provide five free kennels where your dog can relax while you enjoy the rides and restaurants at the park. Kennels are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Promenade Shops at Centerra

The Promenade Shops at Centerra offers many dog-friendly shopping & dining options. Customers may bring leashed, well-behaved dogs to the common areas of The Promenades Shops at Centerra. In addition, merchants that permit dogs will have a sticker on their door or window to indicate that customers may bring their dogs into their store. These stores and restaurants include but are not limited to: American Eagle Outfitters, Famous Footwear, Bath & Body Works, Francesca's Collections, Bent Fork The Grill, Gymboree, Best Buy, Amy's Hallmark, Buckle, Helzberg Diamonds, Build-A-Bear Workshop, J. Jill, PacSun, Charlotte Russe, Perfumania, Christopher & Banks, Select Comfort, Connect Wireless, Sunglass Designs, Clarks, Sunglass Hut, Coldwater Creek, The Children's Place, Dick's Sporting Goods, Eddie Bauer, Yankee Candle, Express, and Zales. Doggie clean-up stations are located throughout the shopping center for your convenience. Visit the Management Office to pick up a copy of their Canine Code of Conduct.

Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad

Leadville Colorado & Southern Railroad encourages well behaved pets to ride with their friends on any of their trains. The train rides start the end of May and run through the first weekend in October. Their conductors will talk to your pet prior to the ride, to make sure they will be comfortable.

Beaver Brook Trail

The Beaver Brook Trail is a strenuous hike on the south rim of Clear Creek Canyon. And even though the trail isn't far from Denver, it's difficult enough that Fido will think he's on a primitive backcountry hike.

They are always looking for new volunteers - providing temporary foster homes for these dogs is the big need, but there are many more opportunities to help. Please consider joining their efforts. FRGSR is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization. The goal of Front Range German Shepherd Rescue is to find well-matched, carefully-screened, permanent homes for their dogs.
