Lighthouse Lodge B&B on Lake Shafer

The Lighthouse Lodge B&B welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per stay. Pets are welcome in the Garden Suite, Cottage on the Lake, Handicap Accessible Cottage, and Blue Roof Cottage. Guests staying in the Blue Roof Cottage will be charged a pet fee of $50 per stay. Well-behaved pets can be left unattended in rooms.

Private Room in House

Pets of any size are welcome to share a room with you (and the homeowner) in this South Bend Airbnb rental. There is no additional fee, but please let Fran know that you plan to bring a pet when booking.

Lake Rudolph Campground & R.V. Resort

Dogs are allowed at Lake Rudolph Campground & R.V. Resort if you are staying on an RV or tent site, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. If you are staying in a cabin or rental RV pets are not allowed in or outside of the units. Pets must be leashed at all times. As a courtesy to our other guests, you must clean up after your pen. Pets must never be left unattended, even in your personal RV or vehicle. A kennel is available at Holiday World if you are visiting Holiday World for the day. You must be a guest of Holiday World to use their kennel. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (812) 937-4458.

La Quinta Inn Indianapolis North at Pyramids

La Quinta Inn Indianapolis North at Pyramids is pet friendly! They welcome two pets of any size for $20 per room, per night (with a maximum of $40 per stay.) Well-behaved, crated pets may be left unattended for short periods of time, provided a contact number is left with the front desk. All rooms are pet friendly!

Indiana Dunes

The national lakeshore beaches to the east of the Indiana Dunes State Park are open to pets (Kemil Beach, Dunbar Beach and Lake View Beach). Pets are not permitted on the national lakeshore beaches to the west of the state park (Porter Beach, Portage Lakefront Beach and West Beach). Pets are permitted in parking areas and trails near the beach area, but must stay off the actual beach. Pets must be on a leash at all times, even when swimming in the lake. Handlers allowing pets to chase birds or otherwise harass wildlife are subject to a citation. Pet handlers are responsible for carrying waste off the beach.

Broad Ripple Dog Park

Your pet will thank you for the off-leash exercise they'll get at this fenced dog park. Dog park use requires a Pooch Pass which can be purchased at the Broad Ripple Park Office at 1550 Broad Ripple Avenue. Must show proof of parvo, rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccinations when purchasing the pass.

Holliday Park

Holliday Park is a great park with an amazing trail in a forest. It's not easy to get lost, and there is wonderful scenery as it's close to the White River. The only place you cannot go with your dog is into the nature center.

Cave Country Canoes

Bring Fido along on trip down the Blue River with a canoe or kayak rental from Cave Country Canoes. Choose from a variety of trips including a full-day trip, two-day trip, or a paddle around the pond.

Rural King

Leashed pets are allowed in the store and they give treats at the register. They also have reasonable prices on many dog products and have hosted a dog wash fund raiser for a local animal rescue organization. They even have a sign on the door letting folks know dogs are welcome.

French Lick Scenic Railway

You and your pup can enjoy a 20-mile round trip ride aboard a historic train on the French Lick Scenic Railway. On your trip, you will pass through portions of the Hoosier National Forest, the Burton Tunnel, and limestone formations on your way to Cuzco, where you can stretch your legs and purchase a snack before heading back. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on regular train tours, but dogs are not allowed on special event train rides.
