Pet Friendly Campgrounds in Maryland

Dogs are allowed at Island Resort, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle. Pets are not allowed in the cabins. Pets are allowed in your camping unit and on your site. Pets must stay inside your camping unit, unless you are outside. Pets are never to be tied to trees, posts or your camping unit. Pets must be cleaned up after. Pets must not disturb other guests. Excessive barking or other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and the pet owner will be required to remove the offending pet(s) from the campground. Pets must be left inside your camping unit when you are away from your campsite. Please take into consideration the outside temperatures and weather conditions when leaving your pet inside. You are responsible for providing adequate ventilation and climate control for your pet(s). Pets must wear their current and valid rabies tags. Pets must wear tags with name, and telephone number to reach owners. Aggressive dog breeds (rotweiller & pit bulls) are not permitted in the campground. Pets are not allowed to swim in ponds.
