Fox Park Dog Park is located inside Fox Park in San Antonio, TX. This fully fenced dog run includes separate areas for small and large dogs, a concrete walkway, drinking fountains, shade trees, waste bag stations, trash receptacles and benches. Pups of all sizes can climb on ramps and agility equipment, play a game of fetch, or “ruff” house with new friends. After all that fun, wind down by taking a quiet stroll with your pooch on the 0.2-mile paved path through Fox Park, which connects to the larger Leon Creek Greenway. Make a stop for a picnic lunch at one of the shaded pavilions.

Spend some time exploring the Alamo City and spend a night or two at Utsa Getaway. This bright and colorful home will make you and Fido feel welcome in San Antonio.

Big Grove Brewery has been brewing craft beer since 2013, but their new tap room location in a former car dealership in downtown Des Moines, IA will be serving some brand new brews in addition to a food menu featuring healthy eats. The real draw though is the 12,000-square-foot pet-friendly patio which offers beautiful panoramic views of the Des Moines skyline. Part of the patio is covered for hot or rainy days, and outdoor fireplaces will keep Fido toasty warm when the temperature dips. He’ll also like the turf ground cover so his paws stay clean.

Stay in the heart of downtown at Surety Hotel Des Moines. Fido will be greeted with treats, a plush dog bed, and food and water bowls. While you’re exploring the city, take your pup for a walk through Pappajohn Sculpture Park.

Your pup is welcome to join you while in the dining area, in the beer garden, or while you play a game of cornhole. He can also have his own fun in the off-leash dog park.

The Park at O.H.S.O. Brewery in Gilbert, AZ is welcoming furry guests and their humans to explore the new ballpark-like facility behind their restaurant and brewery. The park features a dog park for Fido, live music, an arcade, cornhole boards, a large TV for sporting events and movies, and of course refreshing O.H.S.O brews. In the coming months, they’ll also be serving concessions like hotdogs, brats and skewers. The area includes plenty of shade and misters on hot days, and if you’re planning a special event like a birthday party for Fido, you can reserve a private cabana. Each night of the week features a special event like cornhole competitions and movies. Bring Fido on Thursdays for Puppies and Pints, a dog lover’s social hour.

After a fun night at The Park, walk back to The Purple Prickly Pear. This beautiful pet-friendly vacation rental features an incredible backyard with a galvanized pool, covered patio for an outdoor dinner, and, best of all, a small enclosed area for Fido with waste bags and a dog house.
