Cayucos Beach in California is dog friendly, as is the town with many restaurants that allow dogs to eat with owners al fresco on their patios. Many motels love to have the dogs and spoil them. Nearby Cambria is also dog friendly at the stores and restaurants, but dogs are not allowed on the hard to access beaches that often have elephant seals.
