Once known as “The Playground of the Stars”, Palm Springs is now a playground for pups, offering a variety of dog-friendly attractions. Start your big adventure 15 miles north of the city at Cabazon Dinosaurs, a popular roadside museum boasting a pair of giant concrete dinosaurs. Leashed dogs can trade snarls with robotic and static dino displays. Next, head downtown to the Palm Springs Air Museum. Leashed dogs are welcome to tour exhibits featuring combat aircraft from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Drop by Moorten Botanical Garden to watch Fido nose around gardens filled with native cacti and exotic desert flora. After a busy day, sample the tasty eats at nearby Lulu California Bistro. Pups can cool off with a bowl of water on the covered sidewalk terrace.
