Tiggy and Kai On the Trail

This is an almost mile-long out-and-back trail near Houma, Louisiana. It's an easy route that takes an average of about 20 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. No elevation. Dirt trail with a covered bridge and a couple of wooden walkways interspersed with benches that ends with an observation deck. It is level with the swamp so do not allow you pups to venture too close to the water. I would hate for a pleasent walk to end in disaster after a run-in with a gator. It's in South Louisiana so even in the shade, heat and humidity are high. Please bring sufficient water for your pups during the walk. Enjoy!
