There is a maximum of 2 pets allowed on each flight, so you should contact the Customer Service Team at (800) 223-7776 to guarantee Fido a spot on board. Passengers traveling with their pet will be seated towards the back of the aircraft.
Pets in the Cabin
Small pets will be accepted on Air India domestic flights. The combined weight of the pet and carrier should not exceed 11 lbs (5 kg). Pets will be charged as excess baggage and will incur a fee between $100-200.

For pets traveling in the cabin or hold, carriers should not exceed 18" H x 18" W x 12" D. They should be carried in soft ventilated bags or kennels. A moisture absorbent mat must be placed in the carrier.
For flights to/from London, pets are not permitted in the cabin or as accompanied baggage. For flights to the Middle East, live birds will not be carried as accompanied baggage either in the cabin or in the hold.
