Air North advise passengers to reserve their pet's spot on board by contacting the Customer Service Team at (867) 668-2228. If you don't book a place for Fido, they may still be accepted on a first come, first served basis, but a spot on board is not guaranteed.
Pets in the Cabin
Small dogs, cats, rabbits, and household birds can travel in the cabin if they fit inside a soft carrier underneath the seat in front of you. The combined weight of the pet and carrier must not exceed the usual baggage allowance. Each passenger is allowed to bring 1 pet on board with them. There is no pet fee for animals traveling in the cabin.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Larger pets can be transported as checked baggage with Air North. 2 pets are permitted to travel in the same carrier in the hold. The fee for small, medium, and large carriers as checked baggage is $50; and the fee for extra-large carriers is $150. The size limits for these carriers is listed in the carrier guidelines section.
Pets in Cargo
Pets can be transported alone with the Cargo Department on some Air North flights. 2 pets are permitted to travel in the same carrier as cargo. You can find out more information about this service by contacting the Customer Service Team at (867) 668-2228.
