Before being accepted on board, all pet carriers must be inspected at the airport to ensure that the pet and carrier are in compliance with the guidelines. If you have any questions on availability, contact the Customer Service Team at (702) 505-8888.

Small dogs and cats are welcome in the cabin with Allegiant if the flight is within the contiguous 48 United States, San Juan, and Puerto Rico. Passengers over 15 years old are permitted to bring 1 pet carrier with a maximum of 2 pets inside. Pets must remain fully inside their carrier underneath the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight. Pets are not included as part of carry-on baggage limitations. A non-refundable fee of $50 per segment per carrier applies for all pets.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted to fly as checked baggage with Allegiant.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be no larger than 9" x 16" x 19" (22 cm x 40 cm x 48 cm). Carriers must be approved, soft-sided, and leak-proof. Pets should be able to stand and turn around inside.

As of January 11, 2021, Allegiant will no longer accept reservations which include Emotional Support Animals.

  Edward traveled as a pet for several years until a got him registered as my emotional support animal. As long as he was in his bag... everything went well with the staff.
