Smaller aircraft may have a limit on how many pets are permitted in the cabin.

Small cats and dogs can travel in the cabin with Central Mountain Air if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 22 lbs (10 kg). Your pet should remain inside their carrier underneath the seat in front of you for the duration of the journey. Fido will count towards your carry-on allowance. The fee for this service is $50 for each direction of travel.

Larger animals can travel as checked baggage with Central Mountain Air. Owners must accompany their pets on the same flights. Baggage limitations and rules apply for larger pets. The fee for this service varies depending on the destination of your travel. The maximum charge for over-sized baggage is $100.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 9" x 15" x 17" (23 cm x 38 cm x 44 cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers should be comfortable, leak-proof, and large enough to allow pets to stand up and turn around comfortably inside.

The total weight of your carrier, the weather, embargoes, and regulatory constraints may restrict Central Mountain Air from transporting your pet. This may require you to be flexible with your travel plans involving a pet.
