There are a limited number of pets permitted on each flight. In the cabin of B737 aircraft, 3 pets are allowed; and on B777 aircraft, 4 pets are allowed. In the hold, up to 5 pets are permitted on each aircraft.

Small dogs, cats, and birds can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 16 lbs (7 kg). Each passenger is permitted to bring 1 pet on board with them. Fees for this service vary depending on the destination of travel.

Dogs, cats, and birds can travel as checked baggage if they exceed the weight limit to fly in the cabin. Pets are only accepted as checked baggage on Boeing 777 flights. Fees for this service vary depending on the destination of travel.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the combined dimensions of 45" (115 cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the combined dimensions of 96" (246 cm), be made of hard material that is waterproof, ventilated, and lockable.

Pets must be healthy and at least 8 weeks old to travel. Hostile, smelly, unhealthy, or pregnant animals will not be allowed to travel. Jin Air does not allow the following breeds to travel: Tosa, American Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, and mixeds of these breeds.
