Luxair only allows 3 pets in the cabin and 2 in the hold on most of their flights. You can guarantee Fido one of those spots on board by contacting the Luxair Reservation Team via telephone at (+352) 2456-1, or via email at callcenter@luxair.lu

Small dogs and cats can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Fido's travel must not inconvenience anybody else's enjoyment of the flight. Pets must be clean, healthy, harmless, odorless, and not be pregnant. Your animal must remain inside their carrier for the duration of the flight. The fee for pets traveling in the cabin is 50 EUR for each direction of travel.

Dogs who exceed the weight limit to travel in the cabin may be accepted as checked baggage in the hold instead. Each passenger is permitted to travel with 1 pet in the hold. The fee for animals traveling in this manner (AVIH) is 100 EUR for each direction of travel.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 17" x 9" x 10" (45 cm x 23 cm x 25 cm) or 18" x 16" x 8" (45 cm x 42 cm x 20 cm). Carrier must be clean, watertight, and claw-and-escape-proof. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must be tall enough for the animal to stand upright without touching the top, longer than the length of the animal from nose to the base of the tail, and twice the width of your pet's shoulders.
