Pets in the Cabin
Small cats and dogs can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 13 lbs (6 kg). Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to travel in the cabin. If you book your pet's spot when you first reserve your ticket, the fee is $83, but if you wait until check-in or add your pet to your booking later, the fee is $100.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Pets who don't qualify for the cabin can travel as checked baggage if they meet the necessary requirements. To be accepted as checked baggage, animals must weigh less than 70 lbs (32 kg) on flights to Argentina or Montevideo, and 99 lbs (45 kg) on all other flights. If you book your pet's spot when you first reserve your ticket, the fee is $67, but If you wait until check-in or add your pet to your booking later, the fee is $80.
Pets in Cargo

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 11" x 13" x 6" (30 cm x 33 cm x 17 cm). All carriers in the cabin must be soft-sided. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers should be secured with a padlock or seal to prevent doors from opening during the flight. Additionally, they must be hard-sided and prevent escape.
Sky Airlines doesn't allow violent, dead, sick, or pregnant animals in the cabin or as checked baggage. The following breeds of animal must be at least 9 months old to travel and transported in a sturdy carrier: American Pit bull Terrier, Pit bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Japanese Tosa inu , Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, Bull Terrier, English Mastiff, American Bulldog, Presa Canario dog, Brazilian Mastiff, Bordeaux Mastiff, Cane Corso or Italian Mastiff, Akita inu, Argentine Mastiff, and Bullmastiff.
