Pets in the Cabin
Unfortunately, pets are not accepted in the cabin on any flights with South Africa Airways.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Cats and dogs weighing under 50 lbs (23 kg) can travel as checked baggage on domestic flights with South Africa Airways. The applicable excess baggage rate will be charged for the dog and the container and will not be included in the free baggage allowance.
Pets in Cargo

Carrier Guidelines
For pets traveling as checked baggage, the combined weight of the pet and carrier should not exceed 80" (203 cm).
