Secluded
Compass Rose BeachAt the end of an industrial park. We were the only ones on the beach in October. Dog was not a fan of the waves, okay with the sand, but I found a lot of great shells

Full trail
Devil's Hopyard State ParkWe did the full trail and at parts it was moderate to difficult. Great walk though as it left all of us (pup included) ready to go for our next 3 hour drive with not needing to stop

One of the better la quintas
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Manchesterthis was 1 of the 3 la quintas we stayed at on our road trip and definitely the best. comfy beds and pillows, clean rooms and hot breakfast. my pup loves scrambled eggs so that was an exceptional added bonus of this stay. hallway needs to be redone

Port Inn & Suites Kennebunk Ascend Hotel Collectionthis motel was updated yet felt like a comfy reminder of staying in motels as a kid with family and those adventures. it was well kept, clean and modern. got a nice goodie bag of treats and water bowl for my pupper
