Nice room and bed
La Quinta by Wyndham North PlatteGot all of the essentials right. Friendly staff, nice sized room, comfortable plush bed, cold AC and hot water. Pretty recently renovated with good furniture and clean carpet. The walls and ceiling are a little thin and our dogs certainly noticed the other dogs in rooms nearby; we were woken up by a stomper upstairs in the early hours. The continental breakfast was a little bland, not bad but not a highlight of our stay.

Charming location
The Hotel DenverGreat location right where you want to be in Glenwood Springs, easy walk to all restaurants and bars nearby. Parking outdoor uncovered lot is $20/day additional, unlimited in & out. Great friendly staff. Hot water and cold AC. Smallish base room, but in a cozy way. We didn't like that the bed frame was very creaky. One major downside is the walls and doors are super thin! Our dogs got very anxious since they could hear every noise from outside the unit (especially the LOUD slamming doors on every unit). Bring a white noise machine or fan.

Not clean
Americas Best Value Inn Cedar CityMajorly overdue for a renovation outside and inside. NO ELEVATOR! Some green space out front, but avoid the back which appears to be a dumpster or junkyard. Carpet was not clean at all and was way past its lifespan. The couch was too dirty to allow our boys to even sit on it! King bed was hard but too flexible for our tastes, and we had a tough time sleeping. Shower was extra hot. No continental breakfast, just drinks and snacks. Unfortunately staff did not demonstrate a friendly or helpful attitude to us.

New building
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Des Moines West CliveYay for no carpet!!! Got most of the essentials right and we slept well for one night. Friendly staff; good location; cozy bed sheets and comforter; cold AC; hot water. Unfortunately the walls and ceiling are very thin! We could hear next door's TV and alarm clock, and upstairs stomping around shook the walls. Also not a lot of green space for walkies.

Good budget hotel
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Toledo PerrysburgGot all the essentials right for a good price. Friendly staff; clean bedroom, bathroom, and towels/linens; cold AC; hot shower; and overall quiet even on the 1st floor. Not a lot of green space for walkies. The exterior and interior are close to needing a renovation soon.
