Nice pet friendly hotel

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingdom City an IHG Hotel

Great staff, plenty of green space for pets, small off leash dog park with fake grass. Excellent room, very comfortable. No hot tub just a pool. Best breakfast in the morning I have seen. Don’t eat at the Iron Skillet. Expensive, but overall I felt it was worth it as a treat.

Closed parking lot

Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Island I-80

Room was decent, seemed clean but only double beds that need to be replaced. Plenty of grass for dogs with bags. Looked like a some remodeling had taken place maybe not done. Only parking available at the very front of hotel & my room was at the back. Breakfast options very limited. Staff was courteous. My opinion is that they shouldn’t have been renting rooms with parking lots closed. I prepaid so I had to accept the situation & make do. Definitely not a place for anyone towing a trailer as I was, they don’t normally allow tow vehicles with trailers to park anywhere in their lots. I had to park behind the gas station and walk a block. Was glad it was only for 1 night.

Rundown older hotel

Econo Lodge

At the price point you get what you pay for I guess. Pet friendly budget hotel. Our room was marginal at best, cleanliness I wasn’t sure I wanted to look too close. Our room had 2 doors, 1 that opened on a grassy courtyard where the empty pool was, we let our dogs go out there, which was convenient, even though I don’t think you were supposed to. Forget the on-site restaurant & go to Bucks Bar & Grill in town, which is dog friendly outside. Staff was courteous. Property sketchy, expect maybe some long term residents. If want more & expect more, pass this one by. Was glad was there for only 1 night.
