Small, clean, comfortable
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham GallupI wasn't sure what was "micro" about a "Microtel" but the room was small - not so small I'd call it "micro" but on the smaller side. The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were clean and in good shape. For a pitstop on a road trip it was plenty. There was a mini fridge in the room (turned all the way down - froze my carrots). The only thing that was lacking was any sort of rack or hooks for hanging clothes or coats. There was one sort of desk/counter surface, and one chair, and I hung my coat on the back of the chair. That part was odd. It seems like the sort of thing you see in pretty much every hotel or motel room. Not the worst, just strange. Had two dogs with me, and they were fine - no carpet in the room (good) - and not a lot of noise outside or in the hallway.

Lovely room, nice staff, breakfast ok
Baymont by Wyndham Wichita EastStayed only one night on the road, but the room was a nice suite with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave). It was like a studio apartment, and the kitchen was actually stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We didn't use them, but I was impressed. Staff was friendly, breakfast in the lobby was decent.

Perfectly acceptable room
Americas Best Value Inn KadokaThe room was fine - it was one of the ones for pets specifically, so it had a hard floor (rather than carpet I assume), and it was near the rear exit. This was pretty convenient, but there was a loud echo in the room if the dog barked, which made it seem like it was amplified. Also there were folks staying upstairs in the room above us (even though the place was definitely not full) and the noise of unfamiliar people and things moving around kept the dog barking and me awake quite late into the night. It's not really the fault of the hotel, but it wasn't ideal.

Decent stay, helpful staff
Ramada by Wyndham ButteThe room was pretty good, not in the best condition, bits of damaged grout in the bathroom floor tile, dent in the wall, but that's fine. The price was decent, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was quite good, including scrambled eggs and bacon.
